Dongping Liu


Ms. Liu holds a PhD in competition law from the UIBE. As an attorney at law, Ms. Liu represents corporate clients and provides legal consultation in cases under the PRC Anti-Monopoly Law (AML) with respect to merger control filings; investigations on failure to notify, horizontal and vertical monopolistic agreements abuse of market dominant position, and antitrust civil litigations, including IPR related cases. Ms. Liu provides consultation for corporate clients in terms of risk evaluation and provision of solution regarding commercial strategy and business behavior as well as compliance under the AML. Ms. Liu is known for her expertise in terms of provision of strategic design and solution, especially when complicated and unsolved issues are involved. Leading the Antitrust team in East & Concord, Ms. Liu has practiced the law for clients from all types of industries such as energy, chemical, retail, aviation, food, telecommunication, energy, the Internet, etc.

Professional Experience

    Ms. Liu Dongping began her research in competition law in 2004. She has taken a very active role in assisting the Chinese competition authority in drafting various regulations, measures for implementation and guidelines accompanying the AML.
