In her practice over a dozen years, Bing Guan has acted as the attorney for many cases involving trademark right, copyright, unfair competition, administrative complaints of intellectual property, and customs protection of intellectual property rights. She provides legal services for companies on licensing, assignment and protection of intellectual property as well as helps companies formulate intellectual property strategies. In addition, she is a legal counsel for many domestic and foreign entertainment companies, providing legal services on contracts, copyright licensing, TV and film distribution, and infringement on portrait.
Some of her representative cases include: a copyright infringement case filed by a record company against a catering and entertainment company in Beijing, which was chosen as one of the ten classic cases on intellectual property of Beijing in 2004; many well-known domestic singers’ litigation cases for rights protection; being a legal counsel for the Karaoke system building project of the Ministry of Culture; being a legal counsel for a group company which undertook music creation and production projects of the opening and closing ceremonies of Beijing Olympics; litigation case on the contract dispute between an entertainment agency and the artists; administrative litigation case of the trademark invalidity of a Japanese electric company and helped win the certification of Well-known Trademark; administrative litigation case of trademark reviews of a famous insurance company and stopped the intended trademark registration by another party;
