Mr. JI Chaoyi, Partner, Head of Dispute Resolution Department, Deputy Secretary General of International Business Research Committee of Beijing Chaoyang District Lawyers Association, Associate Director of Young Lawyers Working Committee of Beijing Chaoyang District Lawyers Association, the expert appointed by Beijing Government for optimizing the business environment (2017 for the protection of small and medium investors; 2018 for enforcing contracts).
Mr. Ji attained LL.B. from East China University of Political Science and Law and MA in Law from University of Bristol. Mr. Ji is a PRC qualified lawyer and has AMAC private equity practice qualification.
Mr. Ji has extensive practical experience in handling commercial litigation and arbitration in relation to investment, shareholding, finance, international contracts for the sale of goods, responsibilities of product quality disputes.
Mr. Ji has represented many Fortune 500 Companies like The Coca-Cola Company, Hitachi, Ameropa, ConocoPhillips, Tishman Speyer, leading high-tech enterprises like Honeywell and Garrett Motion, and financial institutions like Huarong and Cinda in commercial arbitration in China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) and lawsuits before all levels of judicial courts.
In 2018-2019, Mr. Ji was awarded as the rising star in field of arbitration by the law practice rating media LEGALBAND. In 2015-2016, Mr. Ji was ranked as one of 30 rising stars in PRC law practice by LEGALBAND. In 2014-2015, Mr. Ji was ranked as one of 30 rising stars in PRC law practice by LEGALBAND.
