Jiahe specialises in international sports arbitration (including disciplinary proceedings and disputes between clubs and foreign players) and providing legal services for large-scale events.
Jiahe, as a former full-time legal counsel of the Asian Football Confederation
(AFC) and former Deputy Secretary to the AFC judicial bodies (the AFC
Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, the AFC Appeal Committee and the AFC
Entry Control Body), was the first Chinese national to be employed by the
AFC legal department. During her work in the AFC, Jiahe handled hundreds
of sports disputes in relation to the AFC Champions League, the AFC Asian
Cup and other AFC competitions involving such cases as competition
manipulation, doping, discrimination, corruption and sexual assault, and
represented the AFC for matters heard before the Court of Arbitration for
Sport (CAS)
