Xiao specializes in cross-border legal services, particularly for Chinese enterprises expanding internationally (including comprehensive legal support in areas such as foreign labor, cross-border structuring, cross-border investment, and cross-border data compliance). Prior to joining a law firm, he worked for a large central enterprise for six years, where he was involved in business negotiations, legal compliance and related functions. During this time, he gained extensive experience in liaising with state-owned enterprises, private companies, administrative departments, local governments and media, as well as in managing and mitigating legal risks for enterprises. In addition, he also offers expert services to a diverse range of enterprises and entrepreneurial clients across domestic and international capital markets, technology transfer and venture capital, and the low-altitude economy. His clients include, but without limitation to, Tencent, Mindray Medical, Konka, TCL, FEELM, BoBinfo, Southern Power Grid, and First Capital. 

Xiao holds qualifications including TEM 8, board secretary qualification from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, securities practitioner certification, fund practitioner certification, and DEXCO from the Shenzhen Data Exchange.
