Ge was among the very first Chinese legal professionals to practice at the  Chinese business department of an international law firm, and has been deeply  involved in the legal industry for over 30 years. Ge specializes in legal business  related to cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, as well as  representing clients in various commercial transactions, including joint venture and investment, covering wide range of industries such as oil and gas, mineral  resources, finance, food, new energy, manufacturing and leisure. As a  pioneering legal professional, Ge was engaged in the legal business of largescale state-owned enterprises’ overseas listing projects, and participated in  overseas initial public offerings and follow-on placements, investment and  financing, and overseas asset acquisitions of large state-owned enterprises  such as PetroChina, Aluminum Corporation of China and China Shenhua Energy. He has also participated in international cooperation on large-scale  infrastructure projects such as the West-to-East Gas Pipeline.
