Prior to joining E&C as a Partner, Ms. Danni Zheng has worked for 8 years in an international organization, a “Magic Circle” international law firm, as well as leading Chinese law firms. Her practice areas include domestic and cross-border equity investment and financing, ESOPs, M&A, general corporate, ESG and social enterprises, and dispute resolution. She has provided legal services to various start-ups, investment funds, multinational companies, public companies, SOEs, NGOs, and international organizations covering industries such as finance, TMT, consumption, life sciences, carbon neutrality, food, education, culture and media, architectural engineering, and social innovation. She has professional qualifications in funds and securities. Danni has both international vision and public interest sentiment. She was selected into the Cutting-edge Talent Pool of Guangdong Lawyers Engaged in International Practices. She co-authored the first “Impact Terms Guide” (available on Toniic’s website), and won the 2021 Social Enterprise Youth U35 and 2023 ESG Pioneer Award. She was the Editor-in-Chief of a best-selling book “Tomorrow of Law Students: 16+N Career Possibilities” by Peking University Press.
