Jennifer Zhang is currently in charge of the finance department of East & Concord Partners, and is a member of Corporate and Government Lawyers Committee of Beijing Lawyers Association. Born in 1982, Zhang graduated from the department of English at Shandong University of Technology in 2003, received the Master of Laws degree from East China University of Political Science and Law in 2006, and joined East & Concord Partners in the same year. In 2010, Zhang was selected as an exemplary young lawyer to participate in the Training Scheme for Young Chinese Lawyers held by both Ministry of Justiceand Lord Chancellor's Departmenin the U.K., and to intern at a London law firm. Zhang has over 10 years of working experience in the field of banking and finance. She has provided regular legal services and services on special projects for various financial institutions under the supervision of China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC), China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), and China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC), including 10 banks, 8 trust companies, 6 insurance companies, multiple subsidiaries of fund management companies, and private equity fund management companies. Zhang’s clients are mostly financial institutions listed in China or overseas. Zhang also has rich experience in providing services regarding corporate governance, structured funds, and mergers and acquisitions of listed companies, covering but not limited to the education, Internet finance, real estates, healthcare, and military industries.
