Recently, the list of 2017 LEGALBAND China Employer of Choice Awards winners was announced. East & Concord Partners won “China Employer of Choice Award for Social Responsibility.” Factors such as law firms’ welfare and promotion, cultural atmosphere, degree of satisfaction at work, professional training, social responsibility, and LEGALBAND survey team’s long-term observation of the Chinese market are taken into consideration in the selection.

East & Concord has always valued and participated in charity activities, and actively responded to such activities and mobilized social forces to participate in them. It was once awarded “Outstanding Contribution” by China Youth Development Foundation (Project Hope), “Excellent Volunteer” by 2008 Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee, and “Community Public Legal Service Advanced Collective” by Chaoyang District Beijing and an honor certificate by Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau  Dajin Li, director of East & Concord Partners, represented Shuqin Xia pro bono and won the first lawsuit of its kind against Japan. East & Concord has been the legal counsel for China Volunteer Service Foundation and China Youth Development Foundation (Project Hope) for the past ten years. In addition, East & Concord has partnered with Green and Shine Foundation which serves to improve education infrastructure in needy regions.
