On June 14, 2018, at the invitation of East & Concord Partners Hangzhou Office, Fuming Dong, director of the Research Department of Zhejiang Law Society and president of the magazine Research on Rule of Law and another two experts conducted an on-site review of lawyers’ papers. In strict accordance with the requirements of the review, the three experts put forward pertinent opinions and announced the results of “The First East & Concord Hangzhou Office Collection of Lawyers’ Papers”.

In this activity, over 20 papers were well received, covering various fields such as corporate business, intellectual property, construction engineering, PPP projects and Internet technology. After being reviewed inside the office and modified by lawyers themselves, the papers were then handed to external experts for review. In the end, one First Prize and two Second Prizes, three Third Prizes and four Excellent Prizes were picked up.  

During the review, Fuming Dong and other two experts made detailed comments on each paper and proposed practicable opinions for modification. After this session, Fuming Dong announced the winners of awards. Associate Ping Xie won the first prize with his paper “On Redundant Trademarks and the Legal Regulations—A Case Study of the Trademark Dispute of INTEL INSIDE”. Associates Jian Yang and Fengyuan Liu won the second prize, and associate Xizhu Shen, Bin Yang and Hui Xu won the third prize. The Excellent Prize went to associates Shi Shen, Yongfei Ma, Xiaosong Zhao and Ying Chen.
